Partner, Head of Stewardship
Natasha is responsible for overseeing stewardship activities undertaken by the investment team with individual companies, and sustaining policy and positioning of stewardship issues internally and externally. She is also a member of the firm's Investment Strategy Group.
Natasha has a background in development economics and responsible long-term investment. She is currently a member of the International Corporate Governance Network's Accounting and Audit Committee, and a member of the Asian Corporate Governance sub-group on Japan.
Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, she spent over six years as the Senior Analyst leading ESG integration and several strands of policy work at the Universities Superannuation Scheme's investment management arm. Natasha has also worked with OTP Fund Management and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Before moving into finance, she spent a number of years working on sustainable development issues is Asia, Africa and Latin America, starting her career as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow, working as the Chief Economist in the Guyana Forestry Commission.
Natasha has a degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from University College London. She is also a CFA Charterholder. She is currently a member of the Disclosure and Transparency Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, the Investor Advisory Group at the UK's Financial Reporting Council, and participates in a number of corporate governance and responsible investment fora.
